Meyer Engineers, Ltd. completed the design of a new amphitheater facility and Festival Park on a 10-acre site on the west bank of Jefferson Parish. The amphitheater will have a stadium type seating with a capacity of approximately 7,000. Design includes the covered amphitheater which includes a stage (with rigging and lighting), sound system, dressing rooms, administration building, VIP building, plaza pavilion, merchandise kiosks, concession buildings, ticket office and restroom buildings. The Festival Park will accommodate musicians on small stages, craft shows, and flea market events.

The structural design includes structural steel, structural concrete, concrete masonry units, concrete piles and timber piles. The site work includes surcharging drainage, grading, 12,000 square yards of concrete paving for the Festival Park, utility extensions, asphalt parking lots, asphalt roads, concrete loading dock, sewer lift station, fencing and landscaping.
