Pontiff Playground | Parks and Recreation Projects
Meyer Engineers, Ltd. was
responsible for developing the master plan for Wally Pontiff, Jr.
Playground in Metairie – based on communications with FEMA, Friends of
Pontiff and Jefferson Parish. This project consists of a new gymnasium,
shelter pavilions, perimeter running trail, bird sanctuary, children’s
water play land, two softball fields, two baseball fields, press boxes,
concession building, restroom facilities, maintenance building, batting
cages, grass labyrinth and all new landscaping throughout the playground
